From the editor

Hi, my name is Taro, I am the chief editor of Mugen web magazine.

Let me introduce myself briefly. I was born in Japan in the late 70's, and spent my childhood in London from the early to mid 80's.

After coming back to Japan at the age of 10, I found many difference between the UK and Japan in terms of culture and behaviour of the people. Since then, thinking and understanding these difference became a large theme for me.

And recently, large number of tourists are visiting Japan. I feel some kind of enthusiasm from the people, that they want to know and understand more about the country.

Finally, I decided to publish this web magazine as a platform where people around the world can have a look into the culture of Japan, and develop their thoughts on it from their own perspectives.

Wish if everyone visiting this site would have a chance to know, understand and think of Japan a little further.
